This group is about photoillustrations.

So what exactly is a photoillustration?

:bulletblack: A photoillustration is a digital painting that bases on just one photo. It is not a collage and not a picture made of multiple photos like a photomanipulation.
In other words, it's taking a photo and drawing on it. :painter:
The picture equally consists of parts of the photo and parts that are abstract digital paint.

:bulletblue: Respect other people's art.
:bulletblack: It doesn't matter if you use a photo of yourself, of friends or a stock photo - handle each of them with care.
:bulletblue: We will not accept works that contain severe violence or pornography.
:bulletblack: We will not accept photos with loads of text on them or that only have many stamped symbols on them.
:bulletblue: Please give the the correct reference to the photo you used in the picture's description.

For mine I use Photoshop CS5 and a graphics tablet Wacom Intuos3 A5. :meow:
